David D. Walker, President
Dave is the founder and President of Viribus Capital Advisors. Most recently he worked on Capitol Hill as a Presidential Appointee and was the head of Volunteer Recruitment and Selection at the Peace Corps. Prior to that he worked on Wall Street for 24 years and has expertise in the areas of the valuation and trading of fixed income and equity securities. He worked in New York City, London and Chicago and was most recently a Managing Director and Partner at R.W. Pressprich. He graduated from The Citadel with a degree in Civil Engineering, he was also elected by his peers to the Honor Committee, was a member of the Wrestling team and is currently the head of recruiting in the State of Illinois. He also is a licensed Professional Engineer in the state of Pennsylvania and has an MBA from Yale University where he was on the rugby team and Discipline committee. He's an adjunct professor at Northwestern University, where he's taught for Corporate Finance for 11 years and has coached youth sports in his hometown of Winnetka. Dave also served in the U.S. Army after graduating from The Citadel and is a third generation U.S. Army soldier.
He lives in Winnetka, IL with his wife and three children.
Chuck Lawless, Board of Advisors
Chuck Lawless is currently a Senior Managing Director in the Investment Management Division at Mesirow Financial in Chicago. In this role he provides wealth management and private banking services to high net worth individuals, family foundations and pension plans. He began his career at Mesirow in 1996 and has been there ever since. He is also involved in his local community and has started a non profit organization, the Tyro society and also authored a book called the "tyro dossier". He is a graduate of New Trier High School and The Citadel where he was a member of the Lacrosse team and is currently the head of the Chicago area Citadel alumni club. He is also an Eagle Scout and has been involved in volunteering for the Boy Scouts.
Chuck lives in Winnetka, IL with his wife and three children.
Jay Readey, Board of Advisors
Jay Readey is a serial entrepreneur. He has been involved directly or indirectly with over a dozen startups in both the for profit and non-profit sectors. Originally from Upper Arlington, Ohio, Jay graduated from Yale University. He enjoyed his time in New Haven so much that he remained there to get his Law degree from Yale Law School and his MBA from the Yale School of Management. Jay currently works as of counsel at Ginsburg Jacobs and is the co-head of the Yale SOM alumni club in Chicago. One of his more interesting projects was profiled last June on the local news channel and publications such as the Chicago Tribune. Bill Feingold, Board of Advisors
Bill is considered an expert on complex asset and security valuations and is the founder and President of Hillside Advisors LLC which focuses on those topics. Bill graduated summa Cum laude from Yale University and obtained his MBA from the Wharton school at the University of Pennsylvania. This was followed by a lengthy career on Wall Street including stints at First Boston, Lehman Brothers and Goldman Sachs where he focused on convertible arbitrage and valuation. Bill has also lectured at Yale University and is currently an adjunct professor at Mercy College. Neil Edwards, Board of Advisors
Neil Edwards is a business executive with over 20 years of experience in building and developing successful teams in the technology industry. He was formerly the founding CEO of dotMobi, a mobile web services company, where he grew the company from a start-up to a multi-million dollar organization. Neil has worked internationally including stints in China and Ireland.
He is a graduate of The Citadel, lives in Manhattan and enjoys spending time with his son, a graduate of The Citadel and his daughter who attends college in the state of South Carolina.
Lori Jo Underhill, Board of Advisors
Lori Jo Underhill B.S., J.D. is a Digital Economy Analyst. She received a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Arizona State University and a Juris Doctor from Southwestern Law School in Los Angeles, California. She has been involved in a number of start-ups including those in the technology, media, law and construction sectors. She also is the author of "Defining the Digital Economy" and the UMI-DASH Digital Asset Sector Hierarchy Whitepaper.
Lori Jo enjoys visiting New York City to spend time with her daughter who currently lives there.
